Cannot find New Slide command under Slide menu due to moved.
Cause:
The 'New Slide' command under the 'Slide' menu has been moved to the 'Insert' menu.
NOTE: There is no longer a 'Slide' menu in PowerPoint.
Solution:
Select the 'Insert' menu and select 'New Slide...'.
To insert a new slide:
1) Select the 'Insert' menu and select 'New Slide...'. (The New Slide dialog box appears.)
2) Select the desired layout from for the new slide from the 'Choose an AutoLayout' list box. (The selected AutoLayout is highlighted.)

NOTE: Use the scroll bar to access more AutoLayout choices.
3) Click 'OK'.
NOTE: To add a new slide with the same layout as the current slide, press and hold down SHIFT, and select 'New Slide...' from the 'Insert' menu.
